In the fall of 2015, Facetime is bringing a new After-School Program to Renaissance Academy. This program is available to students entering K through 8th grade. See below for detailed information and schedule. To register, visit the Renaissance Academy Registration page.

Students in this program will:

    • develop effective communication skills, with an emphasis on public speaking;
    • participate in acting and improvisational games and activities designed to foster creativity, teamwork and willingness to take risks;
    • work on stage movement, blocking and scene work;
    • strengthen literacy skills (e.g., language & comprehension);
    • gain exposure to great writers (from Dr. Seuss to Shakespeare!);
    • work on vocal performance in the context of musical theatre; and
    • have a lot of fun!

At the end of the year, each class will participate in a showcase performance. This gives the students a taste of performance and an opportunity to highlight their skills!
