  • Royalty costs are not included in the budget guidelines below

  • Any changes made to the script must be outlined in the proposal and approved by the Artistic Director, as well as probably the licensing company.

  • Directors are responsible for making sure that all copyright laws are followed for their respective production.  This includes copying and digital publication of materials and use of the logo.

Budget

Not including royalties, our musical budget tends to be between $10,000-15,000; the play budget between $8,000-10,000.  The Artistic Director and/or Producer will work together with the director to solidify a budget that works for the show and the theatre.

Production Team

For musicals, Facetime Theatre requires that you tentatively secure a music director before submitting your proposal and are welcome to build your production team as you see fit, but all production team members will need to be approved by the Artistic Director.  We will also be happy to assist the director in the building of the production team.  We offer small stipends for certain production team members.  Our actors are not paid.
